Top up balance / deposit money
Top up your balance / Deposit money into your account
This article describes how to transfer money to your personal Eponet account. You can find this function under Settings > Finances, where you can also view your balance and all your account transactions.
Here you will see the Top up account section. Select the desired amount and click on "Top up". A top-up window will now open (here is an example after CHF 70 has been selected):
Select Card and the next window will appear, where you can enter your credit card information. Follow the instructions:
If you select TWINT, the next window will appear, which will take you to the TWINT QR code after clicking on the green button. Follow the instructions:
If you select Bank transfer, the next window will appear where you must confirm the delayed credit (bank transfers are free of charge, so there is no processing fee).
Follow the instructions:
Click on the "Confirm" button. You will then receive the QR code payment slip for the transfer:
Please check the "Payable by" fields: if your address details are incorrect or missing, the payment cannot be made.
For payments with a QR code payment slip (free payment without fees), the address in the portal is mandatory – otherwise the QR code on the payment slip will not work and your payment cannot be assigned.
The current bank details from October 2025 are IBAN CH34 3078 4298 2341 2200 1
. Please do not transfer any amounts that have not been initiated via the portal's deposit function, as these also include the allocation of your account.
It is also possible to download the QR code payment slip as a PDF (green button). Please note that cash deposits at the post office are subject to a fee and will be charged to your account.
Receipt of payment for bank transfers to your account:
Receipt of payment at Eponet on weekdays by 11:00 a.m. = your account will be credited on the same day between approximately 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m.
Payments received by Eponet on weekdays by 11 p.m. will be credited to your account the following day between approximately 12.30 a.m. and 1.30 a.m.
Information regarding the following note:
If you scan the QR code payment slip, all data will be transferred correctly and there is no risk of you being charged CHF 28. This flat fee of CHF 28 will only be charged if you enter the data (IBAN) manually and the QR reference code is missing or incorrect data is entered during manual entry. In such cases, we have to search for the payment manually and assign it to your account. This enormous amount of time can be avoided by simply scanning the QR code payment slip with your banking app.
As soon as your balance falls below CHF 50 – for example, CHF 49.80 – you will no longer be able to start a loading process (the minimum balance for washing machines is CHF 2). So make sure you top up your balance in good time.
Please note: we offer you the option of topping up your balance using a QR code payment slip via online banking free of charge. However, it can take up to one working day for the amount to appear in your account. It is not the time at which the amount was debited from your account that counts, but the time at which the amount was credited to our account:
Payment received by Eponet on working days by 11 a.m. = your account will be credited on the same day between approximately 12 noon and 1 p.m.
Payment received by Eponet on working days by 11 p.m. = the credit will be added to your account the following day between approximately 12.30 a.m. and 1.30 a.m.
If your payment has not yet been credited to your account and you need to top up urgently, you can do so immediately by credit card or TWINT. Please note the applicable payment fees. Topping
up early with the "free QR code payment slip" makes Eponet the most affordable billing solution and is easy on your wallet!

apply when using credit cards, TWINT, etc. The credit card process is handled by a reputable third-party company, including fraud detection and security checks, CVV and the secure storage of financial transaction data. This process and the associated costs are covered by the Eponet fees. You can avoid these fees by using the free deposit with QR code EZ slip.

VAT when topping up your balance/depositing money
Please note:
When topping up your balance/depositing money, there is no VAT charge, as no service has been provided. This process is similar to transferring money between accounts in your bank account. There is no VAT billing there either. Only when you use a service is a service provided, and this is shown in your account with VAT. You can find these receipts for each transaction in your account under Finances. The VAT number of the service provider (if VAT is payable) is also listed on each receipt.
