Maintenance work in the night from 9.02.25 to 10.02.25

During the night from Sunday, 9 February 2025 to Monday, 10 February 2025 between 1:55 a.m. and 5:00 a.m., the Eponet backend will be unavailable due to unavoidable maintenance work. The charging stations will be offline during this time and charging cannot be started.  

We kindly ask you to take this into account in your charging plans and thank you for your understanding.

Background to this maintenance work:

The Eponet team extensively optimised and expanded its server infrastructure over the festive season in December 2024.

  • All servers are now in the native cloud and each instance is secured with its own firewall, operated by the AWS cloud in the Zurich data centre.
  • All Eponet services are SSL-encrypted and run via NGINX proxy on the AWS cloud in the Zurich data centre.
  • Data storage as an RDS EC2 instance on the AWS cloud in the Zurich data centre.
  • Constant updating to the latest technology
  • Security, backup, recovery and firewall guaranteed by AWS
  • Free scalability of all instances possible with AWS

This step over the festive season was carried out seamlessly in the background. Now, the final steps remain, which will require a maximum interruption of 3 hours. We apologise for any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.
