Finances Depositing/withdrawing money, minimum balance, reminder functions and transaction reports are described in this chapter. Top up balance / deposit money Top up your balance / Deposit money into your account This article describes how to transfer money to your personal Eponet account. You can find this function under Settings > Finances, where you can also view your balance and all your account transactions. Here you will see the Top up account section. Select the desired amount and click on "Top up". A top-up window will now open (here is an example after CHF 70 has been selected): Select Card and the next window will appear, where you can enter your credit card information. Follow the instructions: If you select TWINT , the next window will appear, which will take you to the TWINT QR code after clicking on the green button. Follow the instructions: If you select Bank transfer, the next window will appear where you must confirm the delayed credit (bank transfers are free of charge, so there is no processing fee). Follow the instructions: Click on the "Confirm" button. You will then receive the QR code payment slip for the transfer: Please check the "Payable by" fields: if your address details are incorrect or missing, the payment cannot be made. For payments with a QR code payment slip (free payment without fees), the address in the portal is mandatory – otherwise the QR code on the payment slip will not work and your payment cannot be assigned.  The current bank details from October 2025 are IBAN CH34 3078 4298 2341 2200 1 . Please do not transfer any amounts that have not been initiated via the portal's deposit function, as these also include the allocation of your account. It is also possible to download the QR code payment slip as a PDF (green button). Please note that cash deposits at the post office are subject to a fee and will be charged to your account. Receipt of payment for bank transfers to your account: Receipt of payment at Eponet on weekdays by 11:00 a.m. = your account will be credited on the same day between approximately 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. Payments received by Eponet on weekdays by 11 p.m. will be credited to your account the following day between approximately 12.30 a.m. and 1.30 a.m. Information regarding the following note: If you scan the QR code payment slip, all data will be transferred correctly and there is no risk of you being charged CHF 28. This flat fee of CHF 28 will only be charged if you enter the data (IBAN) manually and the QR reference code is missing or incorrect data is entered during manual entry. In such cases, we have to search for the payment manually and assign it to your account. This enormous amount of time can be avoided by simply scanning the QR code payment slip with your banking app.  As soon as your balance falls below CHF 50 – for example, CHF 49.80 – you will no longer be able to start a loading process (the minimum balance for washing machines is CHF 2). So make sure you top up your balance in good time. Please note: we offer you the option of topping up your balance using a QR code payment slip via online banking free of charge . However, it can take up to one working day for the amount to appear in your account. It is not the time at which the amount was debited from your account that counts, but the time at which the amount was credited to our account: Payment received by Eponet on working days by 11 a.m. = your account will be credited on the same day between approximately 12 noon and 1 p.m. Payment received by Eponet on working days by 11 p.m. = the credit will be added to your account the following day between approximately 12.30 a.m. and 1.30 a.m. If your payment has not yet been credited to your account and you need to top up urgently, you can do so immediately by credit card or TWINT. Please note the applicable payment fees. Topping up early with the "free QR code payment slip" makes Eponet the most affordable billing solution and is easy on your wallet! Eponet fees – information Fees and charges apply when using credit cards, TWINT, etc. The credit card process is handled by a reputable third-party company, including fraud detection and security checks, CVV and the secure storage of financial transaction data. This process and the associated costs are covered by the Eponet fees. You can avoid these fees by using the free deposit with QR code EZ slip.  Information video about the fees: VAT when topping up your balance/depositing money Please note: When topping up your balance/depositing money, there is no VAT charge, as no service has been provided. This process is similar to transferring money between accounts in your bank account. There is no VAT billing there either. Only when you use a service is a service provided, and this is shown in your account with VAT. You can find these receipts for each transaction in your account under Finances. The VAT number of the service provider (if VAT is payable) is also listed on each receipt. Pay out balance / withdraw money Withdrawing your balance / Withdrawing money This article describes how to withdraw money from your personal Eponet account. You can find this function under Settings > Finances, where you can also view your balance and all your account transactions. If you would like to withdraw money, go to the Transactions tab. The withdrawal process is described in the section "Request withdrawal – important information": Important: For security reasons, your email address must be validated once. If the account email address is identical to the email address to be validated, we will validate it within 1-2 working days and you can make the withdrawal. You can find an explanation of the validation process here . For companies, administrations and private individuals who wish to make the withdrawal on behalf of someone else, the following form must be completed, signed and returned to us! Company form: https://eponet.info/epowiki/avm.pdf Administration/STWE form: https://eponet.info/epowiki/avm-stweg.pdf Private form: https://eponet.info/epowiki/avm-privat.pdf   Tip: When you request a payment, you will receive an email with a confirmation link for security purposes. Don't forget to confirm the payment! Have you forgotten the confirmation link and it no longer works? At the bottom of the Transaction page, if you click on your order in the transaction overview table, you can click on the "grey thumb" icon and resend the email with the confirmation link: Track the status of the payout process You can track the status of the payout process at any time. After you have clicked on the confirmation link in the email sent to your validated email address, you will see "Order confirmed". The payout process is now complete on your side and the order will be sent to us shortly before midnight and paid out to the specified bank account within a few working days: Minimum balance CHF 50 Information about the minimum balance of CHF 50 You can view your current balance in your account under Settings > Finances. For e-mobility charging processes – i.e. when you want to charge your vehicle using your credit, whether at a charging station where you are invited to charge or at an Eponet charging station with the "Public Charging" function via QR code – the charging process will only start if your balance is CHF 50 or higher.  Background Eponet AG acts as a CSP (cloud service provider) and does not charge any fees for the transaction. The costs of our platform are defined as £2 per charging point and £0.01 per kWh. The prepaid solution is not billed separately and is offered as a service. However, as Eponet AG is responsible for the cash flow and must also guarantee this, we have set the minimum credit balance at £50. We do not want to have to deal with debt collection, as this would have an impact on pricing and would mean that the prices for the platform would have to be increased. We offer this service free of charge, but we must ensure that the money can be transferred to the accounts. Note: For vehicles such as a Tesla Model S or Mercedes EQS, this would mean the following if the battery were empty: 100 kWh times £0.35 equals £35 (however, we already have locations in Switzerland where £0.55 or more per kWh is charged). Minimum balance reminder: To prevent your balance from falling too low, you can enter an amount in your profile settings under "lower limit" at which you will be notified of your low balance: As soon as your balance falls below CHF 50 – for example, CHF 49.80 – you will no longer be able to start a charging process. So make sure you top up your balance in good time. Please note: We offer top-ups using QR code payment slips via online banking as a free service. Payment received by Eponet on weekdays by 11 a.m. = credited to your account on the same day at approx. 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Payment received by Eponet on weekdays by 11:00 p.m. = credited to your account the following day between approx. 12:30 a.m. and 1:30 a.m. It is not the time at which the amount was debited from your account that counts, but the time at which the amount was received in our account. If you have missed the deadline and need to top up urgently, you can do so immediately by credit card or TWINT. Please note that Eponet charges will apply. Early top-ups using the "free QR code payment slip" make Eponet the most affordable billing solution and are easy on your wallet! Eponet fees – information For the credit card process, we have outsourced the processing, including fraud detection and security checks, CVV and the secure storage of financial transaction data, to a third-party company. This process is covered by the Eponet fees. You can avoid these by using the free deposit with QR code EZ slip. Invoice run, account balance (balance). Your information about the current billing cycle This article describes functions related to the balance in your account. If your balance is negative, you will receive an email notification at the beginning of the month with the subject line: "Eponet AG Your information about the current billing cycle" and you will be asked to transfer the outstanding amount. You can find your balance and related functions in your account under Settings > Finances.   You can find Finances by selecting Settings from the blue page list on the left. Here you will see your current balance in the overview. If the balance is green, i.e. in credit, money can also be paid out. You can find this function under the "Transactions" tab. If the balance is red, i.e. in debit, a PDF icon will appear next to it where you can create a QR code EZ slip for the outstanding amount. If you don't want to pay small amounts this way every month, you can also use the "Top up account" function on the right-hand side to deposit a larger amount, e.g. £200. By the way: if you don't use it, you can withdraw the desired amount at any time. The table shows all account movements. Our service invoices are shown as debits and deposits or income from invoices (charging stations, machines, deposits) as credits. Details can be found as a PDF in the Download column. Eponet financial and transaction report The finance and transaction report is primarily a tool for infrastructure operators. Create a PDF report with all account movements over a period of time for a statement. You can find this function under Settings > Finances, where you can also see your balance and all your account movements. Go to the Transactions tab. Here, in the upper area, you will see the Report function. Select the desired time period in the date field. You can click on the green buttons as needed: Transactions Details shows you the account movements over the period Public Details shows all public charges via QR code over the period RFID Details shows all charges via invited RFID cards Machine Details shows statements for machines (e.g. washing machines) via invited RFID cards The report download button generates the PDF: The financial and transaction report is always based on the latest data. This may mean that if you create a report at the beginning of July for the period from 1 May to 30 June, it will contain different data than the report you created at the end of July for the period from 1 May to 30 June. How can this be? One reason could be that a charging station provided us with data late.  Here is a summary of the possibilities: We are aware that these statements are structured very transparently in our transaction report and are also compiled from several instances. This gives rise to the following issues: The charging stations have charges that span multiple days. They report different data depending on the product Some report consumption only once for the entire charging time Others report every 2 minutes and then stop for several hours Still others accumulate their meter readings and send this data sporadically Sometimes charges are only reported by the charging station days later If a charging station is offline, this can also result in various possibilities They do not report the data, Eponet has to collect it They report the data in consolidated form and Eponet has to assign it to the individual charges They report the charges after one month Meter readings that need to be assigned are missing These are just a few examples of why this data is sometimes difficult to explain in the reports. For this reason, our software credits you with the data that was available at that time. If data is supplied later or created retrospectively across days or months, it is added in the correct place.   To ensure that the final statements are still correct for you, we take the more complex route and take into account all charges from the activation of the charging station to the date of the report. These values are offset against the credits created, giving you the exact data from day 1 of the charging point's activation. Add up all credits (transaction report) and all debits (RFID transactions) and this will match from day one. This means you always have control over whether everything is correct. If you were to do this for individual charges, you would have to take all of the above points into account, which would be impossible.   So if you now compare the RFID transactions in the account with the credits paid out, the figures will match. It is therefore not possible to reference the individual RFID transactions from the report with the credit note.
